The Death of Stinky Flower, Christian Thoughts

On April 7the long core of the flower has bent into half.  3 or 4 days previously the flower petal closed and withered.  It made Hiroko to see how the human being around 80 years old would wither like this flower.  This flower gave Hiroko very much amusement.  What kind of flower would bloom?  When would the flower open?  For the month, Hiroko anxiously waited for the flower to open.

Hiroko was very happy to see the beautiful flower bloom.

It is very sad to see the death of anything.  Especially, loved one’s death effected to people’s life.
Hiroko experienced so many people death.  When she was 4 years old, Grand-ma who loved Hiroko so much died.  Hiroko still remembers her cold hand.  At 5 years old, Hiroko’s mother’s side uncle died in the war.  Hiroko remembers that when she heard the news she was very sad and cried out she wanted to be his bride.  Hiroko lost her best friend’s brother at their field trip on the mountain top.  After that Hiroko also experienced many deaths.

At Hiroko’s college life, Hiroko got together with friends who loved to talk about death.  One of the friends said, “Every human being’s end is death, so our purpose of living is death, isn’t it?’  It shouldn’t be our purpose of living.  Recently, Hiroko’s brother in his drunken state phoned Hiroko that he couldn’t find the purpose of living.  His purpose of living was the success of his business.  Now his son took over his business and Hiroko’s brother has retired.  What can Hiroko say to encourage him?

Stinky plant bloom very beautiful flower and died, but after that the potato from the flower can be bloomed again.

The Stinky Flower’s potato placed in the pot with the expectation to bloom the flower again in 2015.

The Christians should have the purpose of living.  Christians spend their life worshipping the Lord God, and pleasing the Lord God.  This is the purpose of living for Christian.  After death Christian will meet the Lord and will want to hear Him to say “Faithful servant! You did well!” and living with God the Lord forever.  This hope gives Christians peace in mind in this life.
